Studio Overview

OnStage Productions digital editing studio is an intimate, relaxed and productive environment that features a full digital recording suite, midi production and vocal recording booth.

Our high quality digital recording system allows us to retain pristine clarity while utilizing fast work flows and instant recall from previous projects. We primarily utilize digital hardware and the world's leading software to craft professional recording projects. From song concept, to tracking, to mixing and mastering, my focus remains on the subtle sonic details that can mean the difference between a good recording and a classic recording. It is imperative that we know what an artist, band or musician sounds like before recording starts. We take the time to listen. This enhances our ability to bring out the best of a clients unique sound and style.

When the project is done, you want to be proud of your CD, and impress people with how good it is, not feel like you have to make excuses for it. Quality in sound and complete client satisfaction is our constant aim.

OnStage Productions Recording Studio standard studio recording rate is $65 per hour +GST.

Mobile on-location recording

We take 24 channels of our recording studio to the location of your choice, offering very high quality recording of classical, acoustic ensembles, rock bands and live events. It’s also perfect for capturing that special drum sound, or for tracking smaller gigs. We can recommend locations with a variety of excellent acoustics.

Our system provides 24 channels at up to 24-bit/48kHz direct to hard disk. It has dual 500Gb hard drives, a 8-channel headphone amplifier, and is backed by an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS). Portable monitoring comes from Alesis speakers, and we have a large selection of high quality microphones.

All equipment is racked in shock-mounted flight cases, and we also have heavy-duty trunks for stands, cables and microphones. Our engineer is well presented in our company uniform, all delivered up in our studio vehicle.

OSP Mobile Recording is charged on a flat rate of $580 +GST. Rate includes traveling, all microphones and required equipment, mixing and mastering of up to 24 tracks of 24-bit/48kHz audio. Please phone for full details.

Musician Hire

Don’t have a drummer, bass player or guitarist? We have range of studio session players available for hire. Our musician’s can easily & quickly write and record that killer groove or rhythm, for your next new song. Prices can vary so please phone for an exact quote.
