EASYChoice Studio Song Recording

Always wanted to record a song for fun, or maybe you have some songs you've been working on that you'd like to hear recorded professionally.  OSP offer a special package which allows you to test the waters without breaking the bank. Come in to the studio during our down time (we will schedule your time when you book) and have a go at recording a song - you might be surprised at the results!

Our editing studio is large enough to cater for 2 musicians at a time, and only using instruments smaller then a guitar (we do have a piano you can use).  You can bring backing 'karaoke' tracks to use, but you must either obtain permission and a license to use the track (from Apra), or OSP reserve the right to refuse using your material (for instance illegal downloaded audio tracks).  If you need a backing track we can help you, or try some on-line sites like karaoke-version.com.

Studio Song Recording pack:

• 1 hour of recording time.

• Basic mixing on our amazing world class D&R Triton console.
• Basic mastering included using our DBX Quantum II mastering finalizer.
• Final master CD for you to duplicate.

This is enough time for you to record vocals and a extra instrument (like guitar or piano), mix and print it to CD.

EASYChoice Studio Song Recording package rate $95 (+GST)

Optional extras:

• Further editing, mixing or recording time $65/hour.

• Extra CD copies $5/each.
• Graphic artwork, layouts or design for CD covers $50/hour

Handy hint

As with any studio recording, you need to be well rehearsed and prepared.  Make sure you know your song well, bring lyrics and sheet music if you have it.  Practice, practice, practice! Talk to a vocal coach before your session, it is time well spent with an expert who can help you project clearly and pitch better.  Have an early night the day before and drink lots of fluids (not beer).
